Introducing the simplest way to weld Aluminum parts – no expensive equipment required.

All you need is a propane torch, and some Simple Aluminum Welding rods.

No fluxes and no fumes are required (however, you can use some flux if you feel it will do a better job).

Makes a sound joint, stronger than the parent metal, and can join thin and thick parts together.

It’s corrosion resistance is excellent, and has minimal or no distortion to parent material.

Fast, simple and cheap.

Description:
Welding Instructions:

Thoroughly clean the area you’re about to weld by brushing the base with stainless steel brush until it become shiny. Then evenly heat the area to be welded. As you heat, rub the rod vigorously against the heated area until the rod starts flowing.

Caution: Never apply heat directly to rod as it will crumb, and if you manage to melt the rod directly, the weld will be easily breakable. Remember, melting the rod directly is a wrong way, and makes crumby welds.

I used this product to fabricate an aluminum RV battery box tray. It was easy to use but it must be used correctly in order to attain a solid joint. I was able to get some very solid joints. I tested a few joints with the sled hammer before making the final fab. and the joints held up. I was pretty pleased with the overall project.

Was looking for a stronger fix for my 15 Foot 3 person duck boat. Epoxies where OK but in time they loose there grip and fall off. And don't offer any extra strength to the surface it is repairing. I head about this product on the Web and decided to try it. Takes some getting used to. Since you are not welding but more Brazing. And it will flow once melted. And even trickier on a ridged part of the underside of an aluminum boat. If you cut aluminum patches and braze the edges this will plug your holes and give back it strength.

Works as advertised. Strong. I broke the aluminum tubing before I broke the weld joint. A little bit of practice needed but once you get it down it's no big deal. Follow the directions exactly
